Artists Billy Ray Sims and Ann McClellan invited invited NHCS students to assist with the swordfish sculpture installation at Turner Farm. After nearly two years of development planning, we are finally here! Small groups of students will be visiting the site and helping with actual weaving onto the sculpture's armature. Other groups of students have been weaving individual mackerel that will be displayed around the base. The big unveiling ceremony will be May 18th. More details on that to come.
