Secondary House

Created with the individual in mind.

In addition to characteristics of a traditional academic program, secondary students engage in a variety of alternative experiences. Our high school program includes:

  • Annual Fall (wilderness) and Spring (urban exploration) trips that reinforce 21st century skills and dispositions.

  • Development of personalized learning plans in consultation with the student, family, and entire high school team.

  • Individual and small-group advisory program and post-secondary counseling.

  • Four annual community presentations called Exhibitions.

  • Extended learning opportunities that include work studies, internships, and independent projects.

  • Creation of a digital portfolio that must be presented to a panel of community members and staff prior to graduation.
