Secondary House
Created with the individual in mind.
In addition to characteristics of a traditional academic program, secondary students engage in a variety of alternative experiences. Our high school program includes:
Annual Fall (wilderness) and Spring (urban exploration) trips that reinforce 21st century skills and dispositions.
Development of personalized learning plans in consultation with the student, family, and entire high school team.
Individual and small-group advisory program and post-secondary counseling.
Four annual community presentations called Exhibitions.
Extended learning opportunities that include work studies, internships, and independent projects.
Creation of a digital portfolio that must be presented to a panel of community members and staff prior to graduation.
